Heat3D wins at the Wales Technology Awards 2024
Our innovative U-value measurement solution, Heat3D, was nominated for the Wales Technology Awards 2024 and won against some great competition.
Hosted by BBC Wales news anchor, Jennifer Jones, the Awards ceremony gathered 300 of the brightest minds and most innovative companies in the Welsh technology industry, along with representatives and supporters across industry, public and private sectors. It celebrated the remarkable contributions of the Welsh tech industry to society, showcasing the vital role it plays in positively shaping communication, business practices, and our engagement with the world.
Dr. Richard Jack from Build Test Solutions was there to accept the award on behalf of the Heat3D team from Wales based app development company ElectricPocket, Build Test Solutions and Salford University Energy House Labs.
He made a great speech to the many distinguished guests including David Davies the Secretary of State for Wales.
Heat3D is a tool used to accurately, quickly and cheaply measure U-values and heat flows through walls. This year we have also been working hard to extend that functionality to also measure ceilings and floors.
