Recent new and updates
to be unveiled at Futurebuild 2020
Having been subject to over 18 months of trials, the original Pulse air permeability measurement system has experienced moderate success, with sales throughout Europe and as far as Australia.
2019 alone marked a great year for Pulse:
- Pulse has now been tested by the BRE and NPL, with BRE Global stamping the device with its environmental technology verification
- Proposals were made within the Future Homes Standard and Welsh Building Regulations consultations, to introduce Pulse as an approved airtightness testing methodology
- A number of universities located in the UK have used the Pulse device within their research work
This year, Build Test Solutions aims to build on the success of Pulse by introducing Pulse version 2.0. Comprising the same tried and tested technology as used in version 1.0, this product update has been led by industry feedback and focusses on making the device more portable, robust, lightweight and, well let’s face it… more pleasing to the eye. The package contains a newly designed air receiver unit, a small control module and a compressor which can all be carried in a single lift for use on both new build construction sites and retrofit projects.
The new Pulse version 2.0 will be on display on stand C116 at Futurebuild 2020 from 3rd to 5th March. Please do drop by to take a look at this newest innovation and to ask any questions you may have.
