Elitech data loggers are small battery-powered devices that record the temperature and humidity at a defined interval (typically 0-30 minutes). They are used with a number of our products as low-cost sensors for recording internal temperature conditions as part of Measured Thermal Performance tests or SmartHTC measurements.

General Questions
Readings of temperature and humidity are stored internally on flash storage. It needs to be downloaded using Elitech software and a mini USB cable connected to the sensor.
Please refer to your training material for full instructions on how to download data and upload it to our online systems.
The Elitech RC-4HC uses a standard CR2450 coin cell battery. It can be replaced by simply opening the battery component on the rear of the sensor and inserting a new battery.
Batteries should last for at least 1 year under normal operation. A battery status indicator on the LCD display shows how much battery capacity is left.
