Course Overview

This course is designed for new users to gain the skills and knowledge required to undertake Pulse airtightness tests. This course gives hands-on experience with Pulse equipment alongside the background knowledge of the methodology enabling you to competently carry out air tightness tests for a range of different purposes.

This course is particularly popular with those looking to carry out airtightness testing for non-regulatory purposes e.g. in-house stock condition testing or pre-compliance testing work. It can also be used by existing experienced Level 1 or Level 2 airtightness testers looking to adopt Pulse or as a means of CPD for those simply looking to better understand the technology and the associated market opportunities.

Course Content

Half-day Pulse equipment user training comprising:

  • Background principles of airtightness testing along with relevant policy and regulations
  • Underlying physics principles behind pulse air tightness testing
  • How to measure and prepare a building for testing
  • Operation of the Pulse equipment and software
