Indoor Air Quality
On average we spend 90% of our time in an indoor environment and breathe 11,000 litres of air every day. The quality of air we breathe in our homes, schools and offices can therefore have a significant effect on our lives, impacting our concentration, productivity and most crucially of all, our personal health.
Through our work in developing the Pulse air permeability test device, the team at BTS has developed a keen interest in how fabric air permeability and background ventilation rates can impact indoor quality. We also have experience in working with a range of indoor air quality sensors and monitoring platforms.
If like us you have a particular concern about indoor air quality or would like support in selecting the most appropriate measurement method, please get in touch.
